program details
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): What’s Good for the Soul conveys to listeners the
value corporate CSR plays in building the reputation of a firm and in attracting and
retaining employees. According to one survey, 93% of the respondents want to work for a company that cares about them as an individual; 51% will not work for a company that does not have strong social and/or environmental commitments; and 74% said their job was more fulfilling when they are provided opportunities to make a positive impact at work and in their community. In “…What’s Good for the Soul,” Stacy Durbin presents how effective CSR has been for her firm and for the employees who work there.
Registrants will learn how to:
1. Evaluate the benefits of CSR for the communities in which they do business.
2. Design a CSR strategy for their firm.
3. Assess the benefits to employees.
4. Realize increased attraction of millennials and alpha generation workers.
5. Track improvements to employee attraction and retention data.
6. Realize improvement in productivity.
7. Appreciate why employees find CSR so meaningful personally and professionally.
