Kentucky SHRM Day at the State Capitol

FREE EVENT, but registration required:  On March 13, 2024, SHRM chapter members from across the state will be hosting a legislative discussion at the Capitol Annex in Frankfort to address current and proposed legislation concerning workplace and workforce issues. There will be numerous members of the Kentucky Senate and House of Representatives join us on that morning as we hear their unique perspective and insight on various legislative matters including employee discrimination, childcare and family benefits, income tax reduction, protective orders in the workplace, and occupational safety and health.

We want to have a packed room so if you can make it, please register ASAP because space is limited!  The link to register is HERE.  For those who register, we will be hosting a Zoom meeting prior to the event to review logistics for the morning and the format of the day.

This is a great first step in elevating our presence in Frankfort and positioning KYSHRM to be the statewide leader and think-tank for all things work so we hope you or a chapter representative can participate! Please note that this will count for recertification credits.
