The presentation is designed to help HR leaders understand, collaborate, and support the strategies within their organizations that focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Registrants will learn:

1.    How are human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) associated in our hyperconnected world?

2.    The role and expectations of the organization for DEI leaders in our geopolitical society?

3.    What are some of the obstacles and pitfalls that a DEI leader will encounter and should expect to traverse?

4.    How should HR collaborate with DEI on a path that brings a successful influence and changes within their organization?

About the Speaker

Dr. Timothy Findley Sr., Assistant Professor, Spalding University


Dr. Tim Findley has worked in corporate America for forty-five years. He has worked at the non-management, management, and executive levels. He has been the chief diversity and inclusion leader at Kindred Healthcare and Norton Healthcare. Findley created, implemented, cultivated, and communicated the organization’s vision of diversity, equity, and inclusion in those positions. In addition, he developed and managed strategic and tactical initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided to the patient, improve the quality of work life for employees, and ensure broad-based participation in purchasing goods and services. His last position before retiring was as the director of diversity and inclusion and chief compliance officer at the Transit Authority of River City (TARC).

Dr. Findley has a doctoral degree from Spalding University, an MBA from Webster University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville. Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, certified him as a diversity professional/advanced practitioner. He was also a member of the adjunct faculty teaching supplier diversity in non-federal and federal systems.
